LCSW Supervision in Maryland

Hello Maryland students, graduates, and non-clinical social workers. Are you ready for the next step in your career? Now is the time to get started or finish up that clinical license that you have been dreaming about. You’ve been working hard to get where you are now and need someone to support you in the final push for your ultimate career.

Some days the push comes from an empathetic, generous place that remembers what it’s like to be at that stage in your career. Some days it’s about balancing your work and life in a way that you didn’t know was okay. Some days, it’s about reminding you why you are doing this and challenging you to step it up a notch. And some days, it’s about giving you the hard truth about your work, the field, and the strength you have to take it and move on.

We all need different things at different times. During supervision we need someone who is going to support us, no matter what, be able to walk through the mud with us, and help us appreciate the journey from the other side. And sometimes this is over and over again. Supervision is part of a process and journey to grow as a person and a professional.

I have worked in family-based mental health services providing child, family, and parenting therapy. I have worked in intensive host home care, which is similar to temporary foster care to provide support for the child, family, and host family. I have also worked in a variety of school-based settings including in Maryland private school system. I have developed an internship program to provide adequate supervision and follow multiple agency expectations. I follow the NASW code of ethics and Maryland state board regulations. I have been a Maryland State Board Approved Supervisor for several years now and can provide the supervision that you are looking for. I have openings for individual supervision and will offer group supervision when there are two or more supervisees available.
